While Showtime may not have the best Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal out there for streaming services, it’s still a pretty sweet one. Basically, you still get your 30-day free trial. And then after that, you’ll be charged $3.99 per month for the next six months. So that’s 7 months of Showtime for around $24. That’s not to shabby at all. After that time, it will jump to $11.99 per month, which is the regular price.
There’s no word on when this deal will expire, but we suspect it will expire at midnight PST tonight, when Cyber Monday ends. So you don’t want to waste any time with this deal.
Showtime is what we refer to as a “premium” streaming service. That is because it does not have ads at all. There’s no ad-supported plan either. It does have some great original series like The Chi and The Circus. Or Everything, Everywhere all at once. Among many others. It also has plenty of hit movies. But remember, Showtime has to license these movies. So you’re going to see movies from Paramount, Sony, Universal and others here. Most Paramount movies are available on Paramount+ which is a bit cheaper.
Let’s not forget about sports on Showtime either. They claim to be “the home for combat sports”. Showtime does have over 40 live fight nights a year. And you can go ringside with exclusive access to the Showtime Championship Boxing and Bellator MMA as well. Which are great additions to Showtime here.
