Samsung‘s upcoming Galaxy S23 series has been subject to a plethora of leaks over the past few months. We have graduated from unofficial renders and cagey rumors about the phones to official renders, detailed specs, pricing, and more during this time. With just two days left for the launch, we are now seeing even more official materials. German publication WinFuture has shared a host of posters for the Galaxy S23 trio that Samsung will use across its marketing campaigns and sales pages globally.
These posters highlight various features of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. We can see references to the new customization features on One UI 5.1, the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor that the phones will feature globally, improved cameras, improved low-light photography, new camera features, more efficient multitasking, bigger batteries, IP68 Water resistance, and seamless connectivity with the Galaxy ecosystem. The S Pen gets a special mention in posters for the Ultra model.
The latest leak also confirms that Samsung will ship the Galaxy S23 phones without a charger in the box. That was already expected, as the company stopped supplying an in-box charging adapter a few years ago. The retail box will include the phone, a USB Type-C to Type-C cable, a SIM ejector tool, and a bunch of paperwork. Since the phones charge at the same speed as the Galaxy S22, you can use the same charger if you have one. The Galaxy S23 supports 25W charging, while the Plus and Ultra models go up to 45W.
The Galaxy S23 series is almost here
After months of leaks and rumors, the Galaxy S23 series is almost here. The new Samsung flagships will debut this Wednesday, February 1. They will bring a few notable upgrades over the 2022 lineup. The Korean firm seems to have greatly focused on camera improvements. The Ultra model is getting a 200MP primary shooter and a new 12MP ultrawide lens. The same ultrawide camera should find its way inside the two smaller models as well. The entire lineup is getting a new selfie camera too.
Apart from cameras, Samsung is equipping the Galaxy S23 trio with a Snapdragon processor globally. There’s no Exynos variant this time around, which is something many fans may have longed to hear. We are also getting the latest RAM and storage solutions and a newer, bigger, and faster under-display optical fingerprint scanner. Just two more days of waiting before everything is official.
