According to a new leak, HONOR may actually announce a mid-range smartphone with a big battery, and uniform bezels. The uniform bezels part seems a bit hard to believe, but let’s see what’s this about.
HONOR seems to be planning to announce a big battery mid-ranger with uniform bezels
Not many smartphones out there have uniform bezels, and no, I’m not counting iPhones with notches, as their notches are technically a part of the bezel itself. Devices that do have uniform bezels are usually high-end ones.
Well, if the leaked image of this mysterious device is to be believed, its bezels will be uniform. You can see the phone below. Not only will its bezels be uniform, but its display will be curved, and a centered display camera hole will also be a part of the package.
The report also claims that the device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. An OLED display was also mentioned, and up to 12GB of RAM. The device will seemingly also offer up to 256GB of storage.
A 6,000mAh battery will be included inside of this phone
Now, a 6,000mAh battery is expected to be included inside of this smartphone. That’s basically all the info that we have at this moment. Do note that the info may be false, of course.
So, what phone is this? Well, quite frankly, we’re not sure. The HONOR Magic5 series and the Magic Vs foldable will launch globally during MWC 2023 later this month. This device, however, probably won’t be there
If we had to guess, this could be a member of the Magic series, but not one that we’ll see at MWC. Based on what we’ve heard thus far, the HONOR Magic5 flagship series will launch, not any mid-range devices.
On the other hand, the rumored HONOR Magic5 Lite is tipped to include the Snapdragon 695 SoC. It will also likely have a smaller battery on the inside. So, this phone is kind of a mystery at this point.
